Health Summit 2016 took place at the National Institute of Public Health – National Institute of Hygiene on 20^th. June 2016. It consisted of several short plenary lectures and six panel discussions addressing key problems of healthcare in Poland. This year these were: financing health care, drug policy of the state National Health Program, rare diseases, the importance of primary health care system.It has been the fourth time that the Health Summit 2016 has been organized by the National Institute of Public Health in collaboration with the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies and the Institute of Healthcare. There were many distinguished guests, among others: the Speaker of the Senate of Poland Stanislaw Karczewski, Minister of Health Konstanty Radziwill, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Health Jaroslaw Pinkas, Undersecretary of State Krzysztof Landa and prof. Piotr Czauderna from the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
